Here is a winter design tip for all of you who may have been snowed in recently:

It is easy to create an elegant (and soot-free) fireplace setting by replacing the firewood in a traditional log-burning fireplace with candles.   Adding a candelabra with votives or even some large pillar candles to your fireplace can really make a room feel cozy during the winter!  If you have kids or pets, it’s a good idea to get a fireplace screen before lighting any candles.
