The Invincible Slobproof!

Here is an email we received from another happy Slobproof! customer:
“I chose Slobproof! due to a challenging dog situation. I adopted 2 dogs from the Humane Society, Tazzy and Lila. Luckily, Tazzy is perfectly behaved. Unfortunately, Lila has a leaky bladder and a form of canine obsessive compulsive disorder with significant nesting behavior that results in scratched furniture seats amongst other things. She destroyed my last furniture, but my new Slobproof! Megan section is invincible!! So far absolutely no wear and tear from her scratching the cushions or dribbling urine on the seats. The Megan looks so stylish in the fabric I chose (Colorado Sky) and is super comfy!!! I love my choice. It is working great for me. Gone are the slipcovers forever. I will only buy Slobproof! from here on out. Attached are photos of Tazzy and Lila lounging to the max on the Megan. They love it as much as I do!”

A Green Tip for Earth Day

To celebrate Earth Day I thought I would share a tip I use when trying to design a green home:

When shopping for carpeting, rugs, fabrics, window treatments and other textiles, try to choose items that are made from untreated natural fibers such as wool, organic cotton, silk, hemp, or sisal.  This is especially important to consider if you are thinking about getting new carpeting.  According to the Environmental Protection Agency, carpeting makes up 2% of the solid waste in the United States!  Not only are wool rugs and carpeting sustainable but they are extremely  durable and naturally stain resistant.
