A nice note from a client!

I just saw this in my inbox this morning, and it was such a nice note I had to share it!

“Hi Debbie. The ottoman is fantastic! We are both sitting on the comfy couch with our feet up. No discussion of who gets to put their feet up, how much of the ottoman is required by the other person, who worked harder that day and thus should have more or all of the ottoman. And the best part, it makes my living room look fantastic while housing a few of my son’s army of trucks.”

On a tight budget of $30,000, we redesigned this condo’s high-rise party room…

What did we do?

Added new, comfortable seating to accommodate more guests, as well as a new, larger rug to anchor the main seating area.
Installed plantation shutters to lighten and brighten the dark room and allow a better view out to the terrace.
Recycled existing dining tables by re-laminating the surface in black to coordinate it with our new media console and side tables.
Added new wall color, new art, and new lighting to modernize and refresh the party room.

Now this condo’s party room can accommodate more guests for more entertaining!

Slobproof! on Ellen?

Another “Desk in the Middle” photoshop creation has been unearthed! Does anyone remember this gem? It is one of our early photoshop images for our blog, meant to be a joke about how much we wanted to be on Ellen…but people thought the photo was real! But if anyone does know a way we can get on Ellen, please let us know!
